Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.13% in February 5–11
MOSCOW, Feb 16 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation amounted to 0.13% from February 5 through February 11 and reached 1.29% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The milk, butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, cheese prices grew by up to 1%. Sugar prices grew by 0.54%. The bread, flour, salt, rice, tea, cookie prices grew by up to 0.5%. The egg prices fell by 0.39%, chicken by 0.22%.
Prices for fruit and vegetables increased by 1.6% on average. Cucumber prices rose by 2.6%, cabbage and bananas by 2.4%, tomatoes by 2.3% and carrots by 1.9%. Prices for apples rose by 0.7% and beets BY 1.1%. Potato prices decreased by 0.1%, beets and onions by 0.2%.
The prices for gasoline stood flat against the previous week, for diesel fuel rose by 0.3%.
